REMINISCING VALENTINO |

In the world of fast paced fashion, where trends come and go, designers climb and fall, and brands become hot and cold in mere moments, one singular person has held an iconic status throughout the past few decades with his iconic shades of red. Valentino is considered among one of the greatest designers and his legacy will live on in an exhibition, as more than 130 pieces of Valentino’s creations will be featured in a couture display at the London Somerset House from November 20, 2012 through to March 3, 2013.
The Valentino: Master of Couture showcase will celebrate the life and work of the Italian designer, that will include iconic dresses worn by Julia Roberts, Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Grace Kelly and many other celebrities. The exhibition will be divided into three parts, with the first featuring photographs of his world through his perspective and archives followed by a special reverse catwalk experience where his designs will be exhibited.
Finally, his superior craftsmanship and execution will be unveiled in a dissection of Princess Marie Chantal of Greece’s wedding dress.
